Trinh Xuân Dinh
38 years teaching English literature in Austin
- 🇺🇸 Austin, Texas, United States
- Highland Technical College
- 1981 to 1995
- English
I taught English literature at Highland Technical College in Austin from 1981 to 1995. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I never once raised my voice.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
More about Trinh
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your Grade 11 class in 1997. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Anaheim.

You taught me English literature in 2025 at Highland Technical College. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.
