I've coached cricket at Rockford Community Club since 1981. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Travis
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Travis: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
