Travis Brady
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇬🇧 Southampton, England, United Kingdom
- Baobab Boxing Gym
- 2005 to 2024
- English
I coached chess at Baobab Boxing Gym from 2005 to 2024. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.

I still think about the rainy sports day. Best summer of my life! Truly.

You coached me in 2012. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Manila.
