Tracey N. Govender
33 years teaching French in Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Soweto High School
- 2005 to 2024
- English, Zulu
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Tracey: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
