I've been a nurse for 37 years, most of them in intensive care at Stellenbosch Clinic in Stellenbosch. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
