I've coached dance at Newcastle Rosewood Boxing Gym since 2015. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Tong
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Tong: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
