I'm a embroidery artist based in Kyoto. I've been making things from 1978 to 2010 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
