Tomoya Nakano
36 years teaching agriculture in Shinjuku
- 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
- 1980 to 2009
- Japanese
For 29 years I was the agriculture teacher at Shinjuku Boys' School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Tomoya: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me agriculture in 1983 at Shinjuku Boys' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard

you taught me agriculture in 1991 at Shinjuku Boys' School. I still remember that terrible school play.
