Tomoya Hashimoto

Retired social studies teacher from Osaka Primary School

  • 🇯🇵 Osaka, Osaka, Japan
  • 1988 to 2008
  • English, Japanese
Osaka Primary School was my second home. I taught social studies there from 1988 to 2008, mostly the final-year class. Over the years I had 920 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Tomoya

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Tomoya: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
