I taught environmental science at Sunrise Secondary School in Tokyo from 1984 to 2019. Most days I taught primary school children, and I learned every name in the first week.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
