I coached cross country at Warsaw Athletic Club from 1996 to 2015. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.

What gifts mean to Tomasz: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
