Helping people break into nursing
- 🇺🇸 Bronx, New York, United States
- Brookfield Youth Network
- 1988 to 2012
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,300 people through Brookfield Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Tomás
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

You helped me get my first nursing job in 1993. I still have your notes. Greetings from Rome.
