Tomás C. Macías

Master of welding, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
  • Old Harmony Trades Guild
  • Since 1979
  • English
I've worked in welding since 1979. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,410 apprentices. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I make terrible puns. I'm still learning every day.

More about Tomás

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
