Tomás C. Ávila
Statistics and biology teacher, Pittsburgh
- 🇺🇸 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States
- Highland High School
- 2014 to 2022
- English, Spanish
Highland High School was my second home. I taught statistics there from 2014 to 2022, mostly the final-year class.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Tomás
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Tomás: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
