Tolga Berk Acar
21 years teaching English literature in Istanbul

- 1978 to 1991
- English
Windsor Primary School was my second home. I taught English literature there from 1978 to 1991, mostly Grade 8.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Tolga
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
