For 28 years I've run the chess program at San Francisco Valley View Sports Club in San Francisco. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
