Titilayo Juliet Quadri
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Riverside Works
- 1997 to 2023
- English
My trade is blacksmithing. I opened my own shop in 1997 in Ikeja and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Titilayo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Titilayo: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
