Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Laredo, Texas, United States
- Laredo Community Club
- Since 1994
- English, Mandarin
For 32 years I've run the rowing program at Laredo Community Club in Laredo. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Ting: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
