Ties Smits
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands
- Haarlem Trades Guild
- Since 1982
- Dutch
My trade is plumbing. I opened my own shop in 1982 in Haarlem and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 22 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ties
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
