Ties Huisman
Retired biology teacher from Orchid Public School
- 🇳🇱 Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands

I taught biology at Orchid Public School in Nijmegen from 1986 to 2006. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ties
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

you taught me biology in 1997 at Orchid Public School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

you taught me biology in 2005 at Orchid Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
