I'm a mentor in first-generation students. I spent my career as a waiter and now give some of that back.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Tiago
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
