I've worked in blacksmithing from 2006 to 2014. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 260 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
