I taught computer science at Los Angeles Middle School in Los Angeles from 1981 to 2004. Most days I taught Year 10, and I never once raised my voice.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Thu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Thu: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
