Thomas Valentin Laine
Spanish and drama teacher, Strasbourg
- 🇫🇷 Strasbourg, Grand Est, France
- Hillcrest Middle School
- Since 2004
- English, French
For 22 years I have been the Spanish teacher at Hillcrest Middle School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Thomas
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Thomas: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me Spanish in 2020 at Hillcrest Middle School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
