Thomas Rivera
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇧 Nottingham, England, United Kingdom
- Little Nottingham Trades Guild
- Since 1982
- English
I've worked in tiling since 1982. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,720 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Thomas
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Thomas: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
