I've been a nurse for twelve years, most of them in orthopedics at Trinity General Hospital in Fresno. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I walk the dog by the river.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
