Thomas C. Dean

Religious studies and Spanish teacher, Akron

🇺🇸 Akron, Ohio, United States
Akron Grammar School
1986 to 2001
English

I taught religious studies at Akron Grammar School in Akron from 1986 to 2001. Most days I taught teenagers, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk. Over the years I had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Thomas

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
