I've coached swimming at Karlsruhe Swimming Club since 1987. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.

What gifts mean to Thomas: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

you coached me in 1992. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Cologne.
