I teach social studies at Summit Girls' School in Rotterdam since 1999. Most days I teach first-year students, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I've had 1,030 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Thijs
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
