Thijs Johan Sanders
Mentor in first-generation students and careers
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Amsterdam Community Trust
- Since 1979
- Dutch
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,930 people through Amsterdam Community Trust.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Thijs
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Thijs: A gift would go toward free mentoring sessions for people who can't pay.
