I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 37 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Thiago
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Thiago: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me design and technology in 2009 at São Paulo Boys' School. I still remember the rainy sports day.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
