Thiago Marcos Dias
Wrestling and fitness coach, Uberlândia
- 🇧🇷 Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil
- Uberlândia Stonebridge Youth Club
- 1993 to 2021
- Portuguese
For 28 years I ran the wrestling program at Uberlândia Stonebridge Youth Club in Uberlândia. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Thiago
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Thiago: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
