I coached athletics at Trinity Sports Club from 1987 to 2002. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Thiago
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Thiago: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
