Theodore Grant
Tabla player and teacher in San Jose
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- San Jose Sunrise Orchestra
- 1987 to 2007
- English
I play tabla and jazz. I started in 1987 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 16 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I garden badly but happily.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Theodore
I wrote my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.
