- San Diego Community Hospital
- 1991 to 2017

I've been a nurse for 26 years, most of them in emergency care at San Diego Community Hospital in San Diego. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I fix old bicycles.
I'm still learning every day.
