I coached hockey at Syracuse Silverlake Youth Club from 2006 to 2022. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

What gifts mean to Theodore: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
