Theodore B. Avila

Volunteer mentor with Hillcrest Learning Hub

  • 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
  • Hillcrest Learning Hub
  • Since 1999
  • English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,490 people through Hillcrest Learning Hub. I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I garden badly but happily.

More about Theodore

Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

What gifts mean to Theodore: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
