For eleven years I ran the athletics program at Cape Town Community Club in Cape Town. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
