I've volunteered with Johannesburg Food Bank from 1994 to 2013. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I try to remember everyone's name. Small habits keep a team together.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Themba: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
