Tharushi Jayanthi Tennakoon
Coached netball for 21 years in Kandy
- 🇱🇰 Kandy, Central, Sri Lanka
- Kandy Sports Club
- 1979 to 2000
- English, Sinhala
For 21 years I ran the netball program at Kandy Sports Club in Kandy. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Tharushi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
