I teach linguistics at Hồ Chí Minh City College since 1980, and supervised 53 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
