For 16 years I ran the rugby program at Hanoi Sports Club in Hanoi. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Thành
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Thành: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
