Thandi D. Joubert
35 years teaching English literature in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Public School
- Since 1995
- English, Afrikaans, French
Johannesburg Public School is my second home. I teach English literature there since 1995, mostly first-year students.
I've run the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I run most mornings.
More about Thandi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Thandi: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me English literature in 1999 at Johannesburg Public School. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.
