Thanaporn Duangjai Chanthara
Master of leatherwork, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇭 Nakhon Ratchasima, Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand
- Old Nakhon Ratchasima Repairs
- 2015 to 2024
- English, Thai, French
I've worked in leatherwork from 2015 to 2024. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 320 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Thanaporn
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Thanaporn: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
