Thabo P. Reddy
Traditional drumming player and teacher in Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Central Orchestra
- 2014 to 2024
- English, Zulu
I've played traditional drumming from 2014 to 2024, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Thabo: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
