Thabo Govender

Mural painting artist in Johannesburg

  • 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
  • The Johannesburg Art Collective
  • 1990 to 2006
  • English
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 1990 at The Johannesburg Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I fix old bicycles.

More about Thabo

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
