I teach agriculture at Soweto Primary School in Soweto since 2000. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I've had 1,530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Thabo: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
