I taught chemistry at Summit Public School in Soweto from 1979 to 1988. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never once raised my voice.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Thabisa
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Thabisa: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
