Tesfaye Zelalem Alemu
Ceramics and woodcarving artist
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Adama Gallery
- Since 2005
- English, Amharic
I got into ceramics as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
I also teach a weekly class at Adama Gallery, which keeps me honest.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Tesfaye
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Tesfaye: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
