I taught environmental science at Gateway Academy in Joliet from 1999 to 2014. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

You taught me environmental science in 2018 at Gateway Academy. I still remember the long bus ride home.
